The tent encampments where homeless people congregate in large numbers, caused in large part by Trudeau's mismanagement of the economy and housing availability. Some people in Trudeau Towns even have jobs but cannot afford rent. Such massive tent encampments were rarely if ever seen in the Harper era and became commonplace under Trudeau, hence the name.

At this rate we will soon all be living in Trudeau Towns unless you're lucky enough to have a trust fund set up by your old man the former prime minister.

Trudeau Town

Trudeau Towns (noun): A term used to describe homeless encampments in Canada, resulting from the immigration policies of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada.
