Reddit community about the game "Minecraft". exists since 2009.
UD def:
a subreddit about Minecraft. very similar to 4chan - it's not that bad at first, then you dig deeper and see the terrible reality of this subreddit.
power tripping moderators, low effort posts getting 10k+ upvotes, high effort posts getting only mere 100 upvotes, posts/comments getting removed/locked for no reason, all the bad stuff exists here. EXPECT A DISAPPOINTING EXPLORATION.
"You have milked your girlfriend for enough karma." - never forget the 2022 power tripping moderator incident.

B: *posts a decent build, slightly controversial but still good*
r/Minecraft mods: sorry dude but we find your post to be unsuitable, we need to remove your post and we are going to ban you for 2147483647 years for a made-up reason.

C: hey, I wanna find some communities that are interested in the game Minecraft. you know some?
D: I heard the subreddit r/Minecraft has many members and exists for a long time.
C: nope, I ain't falling for another community with power tripping mods that delete comments or posts for little to no reasons. I also know about the 2022 incident that happened there. and also, rule 33* of the internet.
*FYI, the original rule 33 stands for "Lurk more, it's never enough."

The finnish version of the subreddit /r/me_irl. Even more ridden with memes and deprived of its original purpose than meirl ever was.

A retroactively amended purchase experience is when a company changes the terms of the sale, after the sale. Companies can do this nowadays because most of us use cloud software, otherwise known as SaaS, Software as a Service. Since we have to connect to someone else's computer to USE our software, they have the ability to deny us access to this software without accepting new terms, that they can change on us at any given time. Since consumer protection in the United States is a joke, they face no consequences for doing so.
An example of this can be found with Adobe, when they changed the terms of the sale to include terms allowing them to look through your content.
Or when Adobe took software you paid for, and disallowed you from activating it, perpetual licenses are not perpetual licenses as long as you must connect to someone else's computer to use what you paid for.

I really liked my $400 baby monitor, but now I have to pay extra for features it came with because the company did a R(etroactively) A(mended) P(urchase) E(xperience)
