Rackface

A condition affecting employees of Rackspace Ltd, caused by:

i) long-term exposure to rack mounted servers and appliances;
ii) having your face pressed into a rack by a senior data centre gang member;
ii) excessive inhalation of PSU exhaust.

"Yo Chris, get your ass outta the DC dude, you're starting to get rackface".

"I'm sorry sir, you appear to have a severe case of rackface. I prescribe life".

then my racket broke...

A popular phrase in Ireland, mainly kildare and Sligo. To be used if a quick change of conversation is needed. Also used to break an awkward silence, or to break tension. Originates from when a man named Sean was playing in the badminton club championship final, and in the dying moments his racket broke, the strings snapping. After the match he was insulting his opponent to his coach, when the opponent walked into the conversation. 'Did you see my when racket brake?' Sean said.

EXAMPLE 1
Sean: Chris is so smelly.
David: Yeah I Know.
{Chris walks over into the conversation}
Chris: Hi guys
Sean: eh yeah and then my racket broke.

EXAMPLE 2
You are on a bus with many strangers. There is an awkward silence. It can be broken by exclaiming to you friend 'Yeah so then my racket broke...'. It eases the tension and is very useful.

Nickname Color Racism

Nickname Color Racism happens when you're a part of an online group where you are focused for having a default name text color. It usually occurs in communities where it is usually tight-knit and/or very shitpost focused. Sometimes it is done for laughs, but other times is done as actual gatekeeping.

Mark: Can you believe it, I keep getting targeted because my name text is white, damn Nickname Color Racism.

The combination of power and racial prejudice when that prejudice affects the power. Note that racism can happen with any racial prejudice and any power structure.

When Jim Crow laws used racial prejudices to enforce mandatory segregation, the prejudices became racism.

If Person A will no hire Person B because of a prejudice against Person A's race, that is racism.

If someone random person yells a slur at you, it is prejudice, but not racism, as that person has no power over you.
