Woot

If someone is a woot; they are a part of a group who make childish jokes amongst themselves and are particularly annoying about it by spreading it to other people who are not considered "woots". The "woots" will hang out with only each other on the weekends and have group chats with only themselves in it. They almost have a million nicknames for each other that aren't mean, but are very immature and silly to the point where they are extremely childish.
A prime quality of a "woot" is to "woot mock" someone which is a form of imitation that the group do to each other in a attempt to satirise and make a mockery of what that person just said.

woot-woot was used by a friend of mine back in the 1970's. He used it instead of saying good bye. His name was Al Brine. He is now deceased but his wife is still living. The term was used in a letter to the editor in the Illinois State Journal. talking about Al. He was an archeologist and ranger at the Lincoln home in Springfield. His specialty in archeology was identifying terrestrial snails from archeological digs. This helped identify climate that existed at the time of the site was occupied.
