Animal Liberationism

The doctrine that non-human animals should be free from oppression by humans. In practice, Animal Liberationism rejects the objectification and instrumentalization of non-human animals by humans, and seeks to end their treatment as a means to human ends. Animal Liberationists would apply this principle into practice, such as by not using animals for any purpose.
Animal Liberationism seeks to be an alternative term to "veganism".
