Then on most occasions the trainer enhances the truth just to charge fees and milk the owner to pay for his lavish non working life style . Sometimes even by selling him and his friends shares of another horse that is no good on the track . These horses are known as stable fillers . The trainer is known as a crook and often word spreads of their track record . Trainers with more horses but not necessarily more winners is a big stable with a poor strike rate .
