Sticky Bait

Posts that are "stickied" at the top of a forum for the purpose of discrediting the community. Often attempted by disgruntled moderators, corrupt law enforcement, or government bad actors to fabricate negative reactions from a community for the purpose of shaming, silencing, cancelling, or censoring.

What's with the sticky bait at the top of our subreddit? Are the mods compromised again?

Adjective used to describe something that is cool, excellent, desirable, awesome, etc—similar to the slang definition of sick. Also can be used to express approval for another's actions.

"woah is that a new jacket? that's super sticky dude"

P1: "did you hear that Jasmine's offering free tutoring sessions during lunch?"
P2: "woah really? that's so sticky of her"
