Butter

Used in call centres to describe either ignoring a call completely or to hang up without explanation..

Derives from dropping something, ie having butterfingers, this then shortens to Butter

also can be used in the term Butterised.

"You coming on a break?"
"Im on a call but I'll Butterise it"

"I thought you were on a call"
"I was but I Buttered it"

"Shit 2 mins before the end of shift I feel a Butter coming on!"

In Aviation, it simply means landing an aircraft smoothly below 100 V/S, made famous by Airforceproud95 and Swiss001... in the normal world... simply means a condiment used for cooking and simply using it on toast... but this definition is on the Aviation side.

Ok uhh... Flight 123 clear to butter at Runway 12
Roger, Flight 123, we are clear to butter the bread all sides

So you people simply use jam in your toast... i use Butter
