Lesser known thrash, hardcore punk, funk metal, groove, heavy, or hybrid genre band. Not your average metal music! Very loud, festive, driving, chaotic, intense and wild similar to stadium metal. Fairgrounds Metal is a highly nostalgic yet nearly forgotten music from the fun nights of the big rides of the 80’s-early 00’s at your state fair. As day dream inducing as any good old tunes genre and as festive and fun as mariachi, rock, honky tonk, bluegrass, etc. fairgrounds metal makes one reminisce of one’s fun times as a child, teenager, fun outing with family, or a group of friends… just all around good times (or some bad) or memories of better times which is why these tunes deserve a slang term that describes their feel or overall energy
Fairgrounds Metal. Tunes or bands along the lines of Biohazard, Pro-Pain, Metallica, Anthrax, Mordred, Judas Priest Cro-Mags, Keel, Raven, Fastway, Pissing Razors, Fear Factory, Merauder, Mudvayne etc. it’s not the genre that is described as fairgrounds Metal but rather the feel or energy a certain song or band carries

A musically watered down style of metal that's meant to be as inoffensive and possible and appeal to the widest demographic possible. Also commonly overlaps with octanecore.
"Old school" butt metal is basically mediocre groove metal/NWOAHM, it can also surprisingly overlap with (melodic) extreme metal, for example FFDP, Damageplan and the album Trust No One by DevilDriver
"New school" butt metal is typically inoffensive, easily digestible metalcore, for example Bad Omens, I Prevail, Spiritbox, new Of Mice & Men, new Architects and most legacy metalcore acts trying to be relevant nowadays (Atreyu)

"Dude, that's some shitty ass butt metal. Do you actually listen to Damageplan?"
"Shut up, you listen to Spiritbox and I Prevail. We're not so different"

A Metal head kiss is when you and your partner stick both of your tongues out at the same time and make them touch, but only a touch, any longer is just an ordinary tongue kiss.
Dave:" I Metal head kissed sandra last night, weird feeling"
Gary:" Oh, I might try it with Ash tonight, blast some slayer cuz why not"
Both in unison:" FUCKING SLAYER!!!"

Groove metal (also known as post-thrash or power groove) is a derivative form of thrash metal that is played at a moderate pace and places a greater emphasis on 'groove' and syncopation. This style was popularized in the early 1990s by the bands Prong and Pantera.

One of the weaker Metal Gear Solid main titles, along with Metal Gear Solid 5. The plot is an incomprehensible and nonsensical mess and it has some pretty bland level design for most of the game. The best parts of an otherwise forgettable entry were the Tanker and Arsenal Gear segments that comprise 30% of the game. Those were peak Metal Gear Solid experiences. Otherwise, it’s just a bland rehash of Metal Gear Solid.
