The popularity of grunge is also spreading in people's lifestyles and outfits. The end of grunge was marked by the death of Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist of the world's most popular rock band, Nirvana. Today, many alternative rock bands have been influenced by Staley's powerful vocals, Grohl's squared and precise drum beats or McCready's brilliant guitar riffs.
