^W is a control sequance on UNIX terminals that deletes a word back. Similiar pun as striked out text, to represent freudian subconsciously typed truth.

Hmm. Let's see - it's a definition that that springs to mind when something doesn't seem quite right.

It's short and to the point and says it all.

I wont spell it out cause I want to get printed, however, I'm sure we've all used this well worn saying in shock and surprise.

gen w

Generation W consists of kids born in the 1960s (during the Vietnam War) to "Silent Generation" parents. Gen W preceded Gen X (post -Vietnam kids born to Boomers) but followed the Boomers.

I was born in 1968, so I'm Gen W. I was a teen in the 80s, not the 90s.
