An excuse you use to get out of being late for something
OR just a fancy way to say no without disappointing the other person
OR just a fancy way to say no without disappointing the other person
*stares at gps that says it will be another hour*
(To somebody) “Oh yeah, we’re almost there!”
*Thinking that they’re gonna be hella late*

Almost-incest is a recurring plot in TV shows such as The O.C. (Shannon and Ben), The Flash (Barry and Iris) and of course Riverdale (Betty and Jughead). Some disgusting people have been trying to justify and normalise this, nevertheless, encourage it, and as the writers of these and many other TV shows have failed to acknowledge and/or speak up of the wrong in this, it has been in many shows for many years and has developed the term "almost-incest"
Almost-incest should stop being normalised in TV.

"Yea, I almost joined the Marines, but I knew I would punch out a Drill Instructor if they yelled at me. I'm crazy man, I'll just snap, too crazy for the Military, they couldn't handle me."
