One of the best comedy anime that exists thus far (2010). School Rumble is a love comedy that pokes fun at the love (or rather, lack of love) lives of typical high school students (including the class delinquent, the silent beauty, the perverts, the school beauty, the athletic cutie, the eccentric curry/kappa-loving mushroom-shaped hair dude...etc.).
The beauty of School Rumble is the anime's ability to avoid overly cheesy moments like those found in Shoujo animes. It's about 80%comedy, 10%romance, and 10%randomness.

Watch School Rumble! You'll love it. I certainly did.
