Not specifically about the music or the style, but some posers will make fun of punks for being open about their political views and not wearing ”punk” clothing or listening to “punk” music
You’re not necessarily a poser if you’re not open about your views, and you’re just punk for the music and style, but if you go around telling other punks they’re a poser you don’t view something as punk, you are a poser.
You don’t need spiky hair
You don’t need dyed hair
You don’t need to be open about your political views
You don’t need to like “punk” music

(Tbh other people definitely have better definitions than me on this, but this just gives a small definition for it)
Also last thing, back to political views, punks are mostly leftists (pro-choice, feminism/womanism, blm, acab, eat the rich, etc) but not all punks will have the same political views, and you have to respect that

The music has an infectious and melodic beat, with fuzzy or distorted vocals. The songs are usually statements on what it's like living in the modern age, and the issues that go along with it. It preaches individuality, self reliance, and emotional awareness. The artists are known for being edgy, flawed and relatable to anyone raised on the internet. The most popular and pillar of the E-Punk Genre is none other than shooter himself (negative xp) however the sound is spreading like wildfire with tons of new artists coming out of the woodworks to show what they can bring to the table. It is a beautiful, angry, sad, loud, melodic and extremely indie form of punk that should be welcomed to the scene with open arms. What screams individuality like making your own music, by yourself, with no labels, and saying whatever the fuck you want?
