Childhood depression is when a child eventually starts not feeling joy and instead just being empty, hollow and depressed.
This usually effects kids when they start being overworked, stressed, and burned out, which leads to sadness, tiredness, and depression.
This probably spiked in 2020, when kids started becoming more distanced over time due to not socializing, and eventually childhood depression started for an unknown number of kids.

Note: Yes I said persistent in the first definition because some people on here argue that depression doesn't exist because everyone has bad days. However, this is an invalid point because depression last for a long time (months at least) which is what makes it depression. It's also what makes it suck to shit.

Get the nillie depressionmug. It is the worst feeling possible!! Your feel empty and emotionless inside, and there is noway to fix it. You can see everyone around your breathing, but you can't physicaly breath yourself. Everyone is constantly telling you how colorful the world, but I'm colorblind. Yes, this is how I feel right now. Left alone. Depression. When I say I am tired, I mean that I am tired of feeling empty.
