The receiver of said troll is constantly burdened mentally which usually results in lashing out from emotional pain and exhaustion, which is exactly what the troll wants and feeds on. The troll only gets stronger at that point diving deeper into Trollism. If they are your friend soon you won’t even recognize them anymore.
Some say it’s from complete indulgence in high fluoride levels numbing the pinaeal gland resulting in docile emotions, and trolling then takes hold of the mind.
The only remedy for trollism is hours of concentrated photosynthesis. (Possible weakness: Trolls also have a hard time completing regular expressions.)
