An uncommon and unsettling phrase used on Reddit, purportedly meaning to increase or add members to an existing group of friends. Most people think it's just a sex thing, regardless of what Redditors who use it say.

"I'm trying to increase the chubby so we can all go to Sam's for karaoke this weekend!"
