When you play videogames in just your underwear (typically boxers) in an unheated room in the winter. This practice is very beneficial for gamers that find it hard to get exercise, as shivering burns a lot of calories and contributes to fat burn.

Shack or Shiver

When someone goes out to clubs/bars without a planned place to sleep at night. The goal is to find someone to hook up with to "shack up" with for the night. If you can't find someone, you end up sleeping outside and "shivering".
Part of the challenge is the decrease in standards as the night goes on, in desperation of a place to sleep.

Joe did "Shack or Shiver" in the city and ended up sleeping on the bench outside.
