Emo kids TRY to be unique, but are a uniform society. They all look the same, they sound the same, they dress the same, they listen to the same music. It's a homogeneous blend, if you will, of stupid teenagers attempting to be unique while falling into the very stereotypes they are trying to rebel from.

and the ones that show it off are doing it for a cry for help or are posers people who are emo because they think its cool a real emo is an emo because they are emo. real emos arnt all depressing or hate life they are ussualy all right people. emos ussualy dont admit to being emo but dont deniy it. they dont go to hot topic for all their clothes but dont deniy shoping their. they are rebelious ecause they belive about wat they are rebeling against. emos all hav their own fashion and dont care wat other people say. people who say thing like emos slit them self are sum chav or jock following the crowd and dont know an emo personaly.

emo kid

(negative connotation):A Robert Smith wanna-be, most of whom have probably never even heard of the Cure nor do most understand the meaning of his lyrics. Many often complain about how dark and depressing life is, living in the suburbs with mommy and daddy all the while. Also common to emo kids is a feigned interest in all things deep, dark and meaningful. Nor do most know that true emo originated in the 80's, although not by name, and NOT because it was considered to be cool.

Real emo kids don't hang out at the mall.

a sad teenager who is caught up in the depressing parts of life and cannot deal with their problems; someone who listens to sad love songs and cries a lot and obsesses about love and the lack thereof; the look: to get the emo kid look, just dye your hair black or red or black AND red, make sure your hair covers one eye, wear wristbands to hide your cuts, and otherwise dress like the opposite sex.

Cheer up emo kid! Stupid emo kid! Sad emo kids. Crying emo girl...
