Shortened version of saying 'Hey-D'. The exclamation mark is used when writing so it is not mistaken with other meanings of 'D'.

Look at that D! over there. (D! is said in a Maori accent whilst the rest is said in a normal accent)

That group of D!'s over there look scary, we should avoid them.
