A scene kid who is into the more pop side of the "scene". Normally a new kid to the scene. Still goes to shows and still has awesome hair. Usually with the smae overall style but mabey a bit tamed. Still likes little kid cartoons, if not more then regular scenesters.

Scene kid:hey did you go to the Norma Jean show? It was uber-rad
Sceney bopper: uhm...Norma Jean?...I went to the From First To Last show. It was pretty stellar.

Scene Bopping

Scene bopping is the emo/scene kid way of hardcore dancing. It requires no skill or ability. It is basically poor hardcore dancing. There is no rythme in the motion, it is always done during incorrect or unappropriate parts of songs, and looks very sloppy. The kids who do this are called Scenie Boppers.

Scene Bopping- hardcore dancing poorly in skin tight jeans and emo hair.
Scenie Boppers- people who participate in this activity

The equivalent of teenybopper, but with Frou Frou and Le Tigre instead of the Backstreet Boys. One who is more interested in being respected in the scene or seen as "hip", and spends vast amounts of money to achieve said reputation.

"I haven't brushed my hair in months and have listened to all of the Mountain Goats twice, can I be indie now?"
