-A special receptivity to feeling the awkwardness present in social situations, often creating a feeling of wanting to jump out of ones skin and/or breakup/stop the awkward social tension.

-A sensitivity to picking up on awkward social tension while others in the group can be oblivious.

the combination of "awk" and "werd". it basically means the opposite of "werd" which people use to describe something cool. For example "I got new shoes today!" "Werd, that's cool dude!".

Person1: I shot a camel

Person2: *WITH A MEAN TONE IN HIS VOICE* That's really awkwerd asshole

Person1: are you mad at me???

Person2: hell yeah i'm mad at you, you shot a CAMEL DAMNIT
