anime convention

noun. a place for people who like anime to hang out and talk about it. many dress up as their favorite anime characters i.e. cosplay. it is a freakshow of sorts for normal people to see but it is not that bad really. most are not otaku, just watch out for the fat old ones -wink-. most people there would look normal or semi-normal in a regular setting. contradictory to popular belief, not all fans there are completley obsessed, they are just there to have fun. you can pretty much talk to anyone and they are friendly.

normal person: "aaahhh!!! theres some guy over there with a huge swoard made of duct tape and cardboard whaddo i do?!?!?!" -calls cops-

anime con-goer: "......"

anime convention

A place where many (often annoying) anime fans gather to frolic amongst eachother to discuss, watch, or dress like anime characters in a cosplay.
Many anime fans, turn into retards and loose a significant amount of intelligence upon entering the premises of an anime convention and are prone to acting in a very annoying manner, or speaking many bothersome phrases in a language named japanese.

A-kon, Otakon, Oni-con, ect. are anime conventions.

a place where botards and nerds go to watch, act out, and sometimes beat off to (typically) japanese animation. Quote 'normal' people do not reside there, rather people that want to be normal (as everyone does..yes even you Mr. 'i just went to shock therapy and i like to cut myself')... they are yet another subcategory of people in general
there are no normal people

Girl: I love trigun!!! its like the best show ever (twitches)

Botard: I like watching you, watching anime...and squids...tha...uckhu... young women (beats off)

Mr 'I just went to shock therapy and i like to cut myself':WHY CANT I BE ACCEPTED?!
