Northern Irish slang for someone who is in or has affiliations with a protestant paramilitary group, specifically the UDA.

Norwood

Once the girls hit a certain age they're sick. They Pick on eachother for rediculus things such as the way they dress, the music they listen to, what class they're in and what side of town they live on. Some people are pretty gay there but others are awesome. Norwood is full of Karma,what goes around there comes around. Ex 1. Your a bitch, your dad gets sent to jail. Ex 2. Your a bitch,your forced to move to virgina and soon become a drug dealer, slut, coke addict, and just one of those virginia wierdos. Ex 3. you start a band and play at bar/bat mitzvahs..obvously people will make fun of you. Another common thing you'll find in norwood would be the 8th grade scandals. The class of '04 was selling knives out of the bathroom as well as vandalizin the school at night. The class of '05 was stealing tests, having parties and then giving out the test. And my class, the most recent was cought smoking weed outside of the science fair. Yeah, norwood is a great place to live.

The "norwood reaper" knocks at your door when you start to lose hair to take you to the "norwood cemetery".

The word norwood refers to the Hamilton–Norwood scale which is used to classify the stages of male pattern baldness.

Originally used at lookism.net and similar sites like looksmax.me the term eventually gained more popularity when it got introduced to the misc.

A: I'm losing hair in the shower and it looks like my hairline starts to receed. I'm just 18?!

Norwood Public School

A school known notoriously across the Northern Valley for their teachers, principals, janitors, and even their milk lady. All students that have attended from Kindergarten until graduating in the 8th grade are known as Norwood Veterans and attain a sense of honor and high dignity. Memorable teachers and staff include: Mr. John Kline, Mr. Seth Links, Mrs. Kriegel, Mrs. Prielo, Dr. Andrew Rose, Mrs. Betty Johnson (AKA BJ), and many, many others. Memorable events include the Stokes Class Trip in 6th grade, Philadelphia Trip in 7th grade, and the infamous Washington D.C. Trip in 8th grade, where many secrets were revealed and friendships were either lost. One paragraph is not nearly long enough to describe NPS, but the memory will never die. In the years following 2004, much corruption has plagued Norwood Public School, but its legacy will always be remembered as something great.
