The Nibs

A semi-exclusive group based in southwestern Virginia consisting of several members and several smaller subgroups. Some of these subgroups include the SCOTNAT, the Council of Men, and the Thotpolice. A member of this group is known as a Nib. The Nibs can frequently be spotted eating out at many places, but most frequently at Waffle House. Another spot the Nibs tend to frequent is the Mancave. The Nibs can be a bit rowdy and nonsensical at times, but they are capable of intelligent and calm conversation as well. They frequently communicate through the name-changing Snapchat groupchat and through their private Discord chat.

Guy one: dude I wish I was part of the Nibs, they're so cool

Nib

A small amount of ones food given to a friend. When a Nib is asked for, one cannot decline the Nib otherwise the Nib rule is broken. It is frowned upon to decline a Nib, and can result in a punishment.

Jack: "can I have a nib of your biscuit"
Conall: "of course fine sir, here you go"

Casual dismissal of another person's opinion. Used in much the same context as talk to the hand. Best accompanied by hand actions to mimic a talking mouth.

Person 1 - "Well, I think your opinion on genetic modification is fundamentally flawed, because..."
Person 2 - "Nib nib."
