Nerd Rage

A term used to describe the condition of an RPG nerd who is extremely angry about a gaming issue a normal person would consider trivial.

Below is paraphrased example of nerd rage from the MMORPG World of Warcraft:

raging nerd: You fucking stole my Cloudsong!

normal guy: Calm down, it's only a game.

raging nerd: Shut your fucking mouth!

Guy 1 - "Hey man I just downloaded this awesome hack and..."

Guy 2 - "YOU FUCKING SCRIPT KIDDY MOTHERFUCKER WHY DONT YOU STOP LEECHING AND CREATE YOUR OWN HACKS NOOB! LOLOLOLOL!

The condition in which the person, (nerd), becomes enraged due to a certain incident that he did not like which he was involved in during a game.

Gamer 1: Ahaha, I totally owned that nub.

Gamer 2: I just killed you.

2. A term used to describe anger or disgust by a person during an interactive form of entertainment where the winner is not the one showing anger/disgust.

3. A weekly web comic about two nerds who argue about nerdy things. One character usually embodies current internet opinion over a movie, comic or game while the other tries to talk him out of being a moron.

1. "Michael Bay's handling of childhood-hero Optimus Prime caused a lot of nerd rage. Everyone knows Prime would never shoot off a captive enemy's head with a giant robot shotgun!"

Nerd rage

Basically a common side effect of being a hardcore gamer, in which something goes wrong and the person gives all of his friends and co players hell

In world of warcraft a guild recorded a conversation on vent in which after 1 person messes up a job he had in a raid, he causes a wipe and this results in the leaders screaming obscenities down his micro phone.

This is a superb example of a nerd rage, its also associated with geeks who don't get there own way and just whine a lot.

When a person playing a video game gets extremely happy by either winning or getting a kill, that they yell out obscenities.

PicUpUrFace: (gets a kill) Get fucking bodied!
