The regions of the USA that were originally part of Mexico historically and have retained some Hispanic culture through it. Such as, Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.

Meximerica, the regions that originated from Mexico and keeps a lot of Hispanic culture.

The region of the USA that originated from Mexico and still retain a lot of Hispanic culture, generally the southwest and Texas. California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. etc.

Meximerica, southwest USA and one region within the area known as 'Dixie,' it's confusing and is caused by the fact Texas has cultural and historical ties with both regions. (Civil War is the culprit here. Unlike the other states Texas was with the CSA.)

The act of applying to your country or culture something that unequivocally belongs to the United States.

Kevonne (a Canadian genderqueer white knight): "Look Mo'NiQ, the US Supreme Court is overturning Roe v Wade!!!"
Mo'NiQ (a self-identifying Canadian non-binary person of transgender experience): "WHAT?!?!?!? We must immediately fight to protect all Canadian pregnant persons' right to get an abortion, even if the baby is crowning!!!"
Julie (a US female citizen on a working visa): "Guys, this is misamericanization. It doesn't concern your country."

My maids and gardeners are all meximericans, but I think the pool boy is DR.

A person of African-American and Mexican descent.

In a family of this mix, if one child relates more to the Mexican side, then they are Mexafrican. If the child relates more to the African-American side, the child is is Blexican.
