An instance in which someone starts a board on a forum, only to wander off to another board. Upon returning, they find posts from people who got tired of waiting for a reply and have wandered off to another board. They get tired of waiting and wander off to another board, and the cycle repeats itself.

Ghost Post Writer

A term that can be used for bloggers.

When a blogger is to busy to sit down and write their own post...they get a ghost post writer to do the dirty work for them. We tell them the story..they write it.

Sure I can go on vacation. I will just call my ghost post writer from the hotel, and give them a post to write for my blog. My readers won't know the difference.

when someone posts something on your Facebook wall and exercises their ability to remove it before you read it. the catch or "sighting"... if you will, is when the post appears in your notifications providing footage of some sort of parasocial activity.
