The Boondock Saints

Fraternal twins Conner (Flanery) and Murphey (Reedus) MacMannus are on a mission from God to rid Boston of crime. However, instead of signing up for the police force, these hard-drinking Irish-American brothers take the law into their own hands. Heralded as saints by the city's beleaguered residents, the brothers also attract the attention of Paul Smecker (Defoe), the openly gay FBI special agent assigned to investigate the spate of killings amongst the ranks of the Russian mafia.

Boondock Saints

A movie about 2 Irish vigalantes who enlist a friend to help them rid Boston of as many evil-doers as they can. Lots of cussing, but very quotable lines. The second one isn't as good as the first, but you should still check it out.

Person 1: "Have you seen 'The Boondock Saints' yet?"
Person 2: "Yeah, it was a great movie"

Boondock Saints

A good but not great movie. People who don't know anything about movies think its one of the greatest movies of all time. It has cool parts and its better than average, but there are about a billion better movies. I would rather kill myself than watch this again and Ive watched it about 3 times. If you think this is the greatest movie ever it just means you dont pay attention to certain aspects of movie direction and you are not quite a film buff. its ok though, because being a true film buff prevents you from enjoying 99% of movies. but just because you fantasize about enforcing justice yourself with guns does not mean the movie is good. you might as well say transformers is good because you fantasize about having big robot friends. just because you like the concept doesnt mean the actual movie is good
