A guy code that is used to secretly let other men in the general area know that a girl is on her period.

Leading a girl on more than once and during the process not talking to her at school but making it a point to be seen with a another girl at school and then once the leading on has gone on long enough explain how it would never work... But they then will later realize maybe it should and they repeat the process.
