The second date dance is commonly known as when the guy preforms an agressive and weird dance infront of the girl to impress her. This usually happens in about 80% of second dates.

burner date

When you go on a throw-away date to cleanse your palette after a situationship or relationship ends and you want to get back out into the dating pool. A burner date is someone you have no intention of having a relationship with, but just need to get back on the dating circuit. AKA dip your toe in the water or smell coffee beans while testing out perfumes at Perfumeria circa 2003 at the mall.

She went on a burner date from Bumble after Jason ghosted her six weeks in.

Bruv date

Characterized by Mr Bruv and Faye, a bruv date is where a person and their PFB (proper fit bird) go out on a date to pub or a bar and both buy drinks. The mans drink is usually a beer (most of the times a guinness)and the womens drink can be anything. A "two dot swap" may also happen during the date but without it its still a bruv date. Bruv date tiktoks are usually posted with the song 'I love you' by the band Fontaines DC.

Soppy date

An endearing term for someone who is overly sentimental, or overly (but sweetly) emotional. A British slang term that is quintessential to British people taking the piss out of each other.

"You brought flowers to pick me up from the airport?! You soppy date." (He earned major brownie points)
"He loves this movie because it reminds him of when he met Mum. Soppy date." (More derogatory, but still endearing)
