i am still young and probably most of you will think that im a lame little poser but i dont give a f**k.

i made this desition becuase my brother was a drug addict and it ruined my family. i dont need anything but myself and my friends to be happy. im happy with my life, my self, and my friends and i dont need drugs, alcholhal, sex to have a good time unlike some lame people.

Straight Edge 

No sex.
No drugs.
No drinking.
No fun.
Lots of music and friends.
Normally they wear buttons on pants/hats/bags/shirts/wherever to indicate somehow that they are straight edge and proud.
It seems to have turned into a big lable.
Lame if you ask me.

A term and lifestyle originally used by a group of reasonably sensible people who saw what drugs/alcohol/casual sex can do to ruin peoples lives and decided to abstain from these activities.

Since then, it has become incredibly popular with young people who are too ignorant/scared to try new things and wanted an excuse not to.

Minor Threat: "We do not want to destroy our bodies/morals, we will be sXe"
Kid: "I'm too scared to try these new things, if I become sXe, I will not look like such a pussy and may even look like a very sensible person"
