Get the oh yemug. Yes Abroad is the BEST study abroad program for high school students. Not only do you get to live in another country for a year, but you get paid mad money to do it. You’ll leave the program with a lot less practical experience than if you did CBYX (AKA YES for white supremists or pussies) or NSLI-Y (YES Abroad for elitist state department kids). As long as you don’t get kicked off the program for drinking or boning your host uncle, you’ll have a fun year. Lowkey though, the state department is just paying you to get traumatized.
