The official unofficial generational nickname for Gen Z, referring to how often they discover something that a prior generation has already discovered.

Gen Z: "I just discovered Quiet Walks! It's where you take a walk without your technology with you!"

Everyone Else: "You mean, just walking? Typical of the Columbus Generation"

General Rope Technician

A General Rope Technician (Or GRT) is a term used to describe an individuals who specializes in rope manipulation and maintenance on any naval vessel as a profession or pastime.
They are the lowest possible naval rank.
Other terms for GRT's are:
Sea dogs
Seamen
Sailors
Cadets
Seafarer
Mariner
Salt
Tar

1st low ranking sailor - I have no significant rank, yet would like a fancy title.
2nd low ranking sailor - How about General Rope Technician?
1st low ranking sailor - I now have a misplaced sense of self importance!

Handbrake Generation

A collective term for anyone affected, even peripherally, by the fallout of the Coronavirus outbreak, to actually have the courage to stop the toxic, vicious cycle that they have been in, in order to pursue their personal mission statement.

Generation GTA

Generation GTA refers to American kids born after 1992, who grew up playing Rockstar Games' popular Grand Theft Auto video game series and the watching the "The Fast & The Furious" movie franchise, and who attempt to re-create similar chaos in real life: They engage in activities like sideshows, flashmob smash & grab retail theft and high-speed police pursuits with stolen vehicles that they learned how to hotwire from Tik-Tok videos...life is just one big game to them, YOLO!

Some Generation GTA kids stole a KIA and crashed it into another vehicle, killing two people just a few blocks from here the other night...they're in juvenile hall, now.
