Noob is also the term for newbie or new. A noob is someone who is new to a game or new to the entire community itself. Some may say this word incorrectly to people who are not very advanced to a game but have played it a while then they have.

The uncultured, normie misspelling of n00b. Generally refers to someone who is bad at something or new to something. Often used to describe individuals in more broad terms than n00b.

1: This guy has terrible aim, he isn't helping at all. What a noob.
2: He's probably a newb if he hasn't gotten used to the controls.
1: I looked at his profile, he's already played 120 hours of this game.
