The windustry encompasses wind-turbine manufacturing, wind-farm operation, research and engineering related to aerodynamic and environmental performance, and the supporting economic and regulatory frameworks that govern renewable wind power.

Employment in the windustry has expanded rapidly as nations increase investment in renewable energy infrastructure.
