He would be at work and start nodding out while driving, either from drug use or last of sleep partying too hard. As he momentarily fell asleep he would wake up when his truck smashed into the curb. Eventually it came to mean generally falling asleep in a car or somewhere you shouldn’t be sleeping, with the likelyhood of a not-so pleasant wake up.
