MacKaye was responsible for starting the straight edge strain of mental illness, where a loser is too poor to buy drinks and too ugly to get laid, but claims they're "straight" edge as an excuse.
After leaving Minor Threat, MacKaye invented emo, dispite this nobody stopped him. All manner of faggots from those wigger dweebs the Beastie Boys to those unfunny retards NOFX to a whole manner of pretentious indie virgins look up to MacKaye as if he is some kind of great.
