Also known as Trisomy 21. With 23 pairs of chromosomes, a person with Down Syndrome (i.e., a retard) has an extra 21st chromosome, causing several physical and mental defects. Usually easily recognized due to the retarded shape of their face and the clueless, happy expression on their face.
