A phrase used to say that you love someone but are sadly letting them go. All sunsets are beautiful, but they’re inevitably a sign of the days end. Nothing lasts forever.

When someone sends you a picture of the sunset, and says this, they mean 'I love you, but it's time to let you go.' The sun setting symbolises the end of a relationship. All good things come to an end, just like the end of the day.

What you call a color when then color doesn't matter at all, and you just want to sound falsely urbane or sophisticated. From an episode of the Love Boat when Capt. Stubing proudly paints his cabin "Singapore Sunset Saffron," which Gopher dismissingly calls "yellow."
"Dude, what color iPhone case should I get?" "Personally, I'd go with the Singapore Sunset Saffron this time of year."
