Mitch-out

Word used to describe when someone takes the easy way out of something they don’t want to do. Usually a beta male trying to avoid their responsibilities. For example, when someone bids a ladder truck off of a heavy rescue.

He Mitch-out (matched-out) of his job today so now someone else has to do it

To listen tentatively to music and submerge in the experience, e.g. by nodding your head to the rhythm, playing air guitar as if performing, dancing regardless of your immediate surroundings whilst listening to music.

He's in the back room chocking out to that heavy metal stuff he listens to.
