When someone claims to be busy or overwhelmed but is clearly not doing anything of importance or making any real effort to accomplish tasks. The individual may be using “being busy” as an excuse to avoid work, social interaction, or personal responsibility, while secretly engaging in absolutely nothing productive.
Example 1: Person 1: "Hey, why didn’t you finish that project?" Person 2: "Sorry, I’ve been so Scruggs busy lately." Person 1: "I saw on your IG story you had time to golf”
