When used by a girl in reference to a cute guy who is teasing her, "goon" ironically adopts an endearing connotation. In such a context, "goon" is synonymous to "goofball." It certain scenarios it can be indicative of romantic interest.

Gooning

A rampage that starts after drinking lots of cheap wine ie: goon, which involves driving into bins and letterboxes, pushing over Sandstone pillars/letterboxes, egging houses and cars, stealing garden gnomes and solar lights and blowing up or towing rubbish bins.
