tl;dr : Approx. 14 Years
DNF is a unit of time applied to the development of a computer game sequel, or the next title in a series.
The abbreviation expands to: Duke Nukem Forever
This is a unit of time somewhere between "taking forever", "never going to happen," and officially "when it's done". The actual value of DNF is approximately 14 years. The origin is from the severely protracted development of the game of the same name.

DNF is the acronym for drinks and fucking. It is a common term used in the modern dating world to describe when a guy takes a girl out to grt drinks with the sole intention to fuck her until her hips heart from sexual intercourse. In many cases this type of dating tendencies lead to one night stands. And sometimes a little nut in the puss.

Did Not Finish - used often in the bookish community to signify books that were never completed by the reader, often because of a loss of interest, a disliking for the book, or another reason. DNFed books are usually books that the reader doesn't intend to return to, but sometimes the book is completed many months or years later.
"Did you ever finish that book I let you borrow?"
"Sorry man, it was a definite DNF for me."
"What about that book that you got for Christmas?"
"It's a DNF for sure, it was incredibly boring."
