the act of doing something that you proclaim as truth yet you turn around and do it yourself.
hypocrisy at its finest.

bait and switch but when accused you use the excuse "i was there to preach"
perfect example stay off facebook but i am on twitter.

guy: well weren't you on there preacher ?
john mac: uh well yeah
guy: well didnt you say stay away from them?
john mac : i went there to preach!
guy : isnt that bait and preach?

A "bait tin" is what he carried it in.

Sometimes called "Snap" further south.

Bait

A word used by Weeaboos to directly attack the character and integrity of any poster which holds any opposing valid opinion they don't agree with. It is often used in response to any anti-anime or Anti-Japanese culture post in substitution of actual argument or debate, in order to discourage further posts from that user.
