By way of example: If there are eight slides of pizza for four people (each person getting two slices of pizza in a fair world), a food hog would be the person that ends up eating more than his or her fair share of food. In this case, this would be more than two slices of pizza, eaten with intent and greed, but as important, without the consent of others sharing in.

"Rick two an extra slice of pizza. Someone is going to end up with one less slice of pizza. Rick is such a food hog.

golden food

Used to describe various gas station hot food options which range in color from light brown to true brown. Typically observed in translucent warming boxes, golden food encompasses many edibles which include, but are not limited to: chicken strips, corn dogs, burritos, pizza sticks, onion rings, french fries, crispitos, jojos, jalapeno poppers, taquitos, chicken-on-a-stick, etc. Gas stations of the western United States are renowned for their varied selections due to the limited food options in rural areas; however, golden food can be found in most gas stations in all 50 states.
