Another way of saying that you or someone is holding in diarrhea because there are no bathrooms available or nearby. (The beans part coming from the fact that diarrhea kinda looks like beans)

Ex1. Hurry up in there! I’ve been holding the beans for too long!

Ex2. Poor Ben. He’s been holding the beans for a while now.
