Get the Boomermug. A derogatory term delivered to terminate debate with persons having a mindset containing all of the worst aspects of the Baby Boomer aesthetic, including:
- the rejection of science in favor of personal opinion
- clinging to a cherry picked examples of 'traditional values', and the 'good old days'
- blaming racial groups, immigrants, or anyone without economic power for the economy
- referring to another person as a 'snowflake' while getting extremely irate about some mundane irrelevant detail like where Trans people pee.
The term is delivered to declare that the person being labelled has lost all credibility and that conversation is now closed. While boomers are often members of the Baby Boomer generation, the term 'boomer' may be equally applied to any person who rejects data on the basis of personal prejudice.

Get the boomermug. When a baby boomer doubles down on something they know is wrong so that they don't have to face the possibility of being wrong. Often relating to technology. Seems to get worse the older they get. Possibly a sign of early dementia.
Terry pulled a boomer double down as he insisted that Firefox was his search engine and his browser was Google. He just wouldn't listen to reason, probably because he knew he was wrong and wanted to avoid looking stupid.
