Post-ironic lad

A reaction to 'lad' culture, the post-ironic lad (also known as the post-lad) is a parody of the stereotypical English lad. To this end post-ironic lads still partake in activities such as hanging around in packs, drinking heavily, watching soccer and attempting to kill each other afterwards as well as enjoying pictures of bare naked women while singing inane and tuneless songs all too loudly, the difference being that they do so ironically.

On first inspection it may seem that there is no difference between the lad and the post-ironic lad, however on closer inspection it becomes clear that post-ironic lad banter is generally more witty than lad banter and in the pursuit of greater irony is often more extreme. Additionally the average post-ironic lad is generally younger than the average lad and most importantly treats the 'lash' as a true way of life.
Post-ironic lad - "If you aren't drunk in 5 seconds, I'm going to punch in the face!"

Post-ironic lad No.1 - "Hey lad, smash up that wardrobe there with the shovel" Post-ironic lad No.2 then proceeds to smash a wardrobe to pieces with a shovel 'ironically'.

IMonics

The world already has ebonics
now it gets IMonics (I-monics, im-onics)- the corruption of the english language by text, instant message, forums, comments, personal web space, etc.

IMonics has multiple forms but is typically used to shorten communication and reduce characters required
- use of numbers for words or letters
- use of phonetic spellings
- use of generally known acronyms
- removal of letters from words

IMonics is not just characterized by this behaviour in specific forums but its continued use in other written communication outside of internet and text impacting overall spelling, grammar, etc.

Future generations will not see this as corruption but simply the evolution of the language with technology

ironically named open society

"open" society is a nefarious project funded by spooky dude george soros to strip people of their ability to exercise their God given liberty.

The 'open' bit is the irony. Direct democracy only seems brilliant to the poorly educated. One needs a democratic republic and not a direct democracy to live well -- provided one's elected representatives are honorable, educated, and active in their respective faith.
You though the chairman was bad wait until you find yourself living under the ironically named open society.
