Milk of amnesia

Noun: Alcohol. A drink which, if consumed in sufficient quantities makes you forget large episodes of your life. A popular phrase due to its assonance with the patent medicine 'Milk of Magnesia'.

it only occurs when someone cares to forget a minigolf experience. is a serious condition. anyone with this condition should be treated with extreme caution (and love in some cases)

Boredom Amnesia

Memory loss due to a severe feeling of boredom. Your brain is in a non-functional and non-productive state for so long that it even stops recording memories.

I had nothing to do all day at work today and I was bored out of my head. When the time came to fill in my timesheet I couldn't remember what I was doing all day. I must be suffering from boredom amnesia.
